HEATHWOOD

neighborhood

Heathwood, a community of grand homes, sprawling yards, meticulous gardens, and winding streets, is one of Columbia’s most prestigious and sought-after neighborhoods. Nestled between Devine Street and Trenholm Road, Heathwood offers a feel of Old Columbia with its architecturally distinct houses and long-time residents.

While the heavy tree canopy, large yards, and winding streets give the feel of a serene location far from away from the hustle and bustle of the city, one of Heathwood’s biggest selling points is its convenient location. In just a few minutes, you can be in downtown, the Congaree Vista, or at the University of South Carolina. Heathwood is within walking and bicycling distance to the shops and restaurants on Devine Street, and a short drive to Cross Hill Market, Target at the Shoppes at Woodhill, Richland Mall, and Forest Acres. Interstate 77, which leads from Columbia to Charlotte, is accessible just a couple miles from the neighborhood.
