CONGAREE PARK
neighborhood
The Congaree Park neighborhood combines stunning, large homes and some of the best views the Columbia area has to offer along with a scenic walking and biking route right in your backyard. The new, gated development in West Columbia is on the banks of the Congaree River overlooking the Vista and downtown Columbia.
The custom-built homes are positioned to take full advantage of the waterfront location, many with large porches and decks, the perfect spot for entertaining or enjoying a drink or dinner as the sun sets over downtown Columbia. There is a landscaped entrance, common area greenspace and a security fence surrounding the neighborhood. The community offers easy access through private gates to the Three Rivers Greenway and West Columbia and Cayce Riverwalk Park.
The Riverwalk is a huge draw that brings walkers, runners and bicyclists to the paved and wooden walkway that hugs the river. The amphitheater near the base of the Gervais Street bridge offers free concerts in the summer and fall, along with other theater productions. And West Columbia’s location on the Congaree is a big draw for people interested in kayaking and tubing along the quick-moving river.
