Mary “Marnie” Frye Clayton joined The Moore Company in 2018 and brings with her more than a decade of experience in full-service residential and commercial design, building and renovation. She grew up in Columbia where she attended Hammond School before graduating from USC. Marnie lives in Melrose Heights and has three children who have attended Hammond, Brennen, Crayton, A.C. Flora and now College of Charleston. Her family is a member of Downtown Church.
Since childhood, Marnie has had an obsession with architecture and design. Her passion for designing livable spaces led her to start two full-service design firms, first MC41 and most recently MACK Home in Trenholm Plaza. She has assisted both residential and commercial clients in finding and designing beautiful, useful spaces that reflect their lifestyle and aesthetic tastes while helping to balance their budgets! Her work has been featured in Elle Decor, Columbia Metropolitan Magazine, Columbia Living, and currently Coastal Living. Marnie’s ability to identify a “good deal” has helped in her own home search in the past. In fact, she has bought and renovated five fixer-uppers over the years around downtown Columbia. She is always on the lookout for the next project!
