Charles Ellis, better known as “Chaz”, joined The Moore Company in the spring of 2019 as a buyer’s agent working with veteran agent Mary Ellen Maloney.
Chaz has been called a ‘natural born entrepreneur’ who’s established his mark on the business world all across the state of South Carolina. Chaz has served in a host of capacities in the corporate world as director of sales and marketing, national account sales consultant, sales and operation development in the moving industry before becoming a franchisee/owner with Two Men and a Truck in his hometown of Florence, South Carolina. Also, Chaz has owned and operated a high-end luxury spa in Columbia, South Carolina before changing course to a new endeavor with his partner, Lex. In April 2018 the couple opened Parlour 818, a boutique salon and spa on Devine Street. After over 15 years in the moving and beauty industry, Chaz was ready for a change that would combine his skills from both. As a licensed REALTOR®, Chaz is ready to bring his clients high-end customer service, while making their home buying dreams become realities.
Giving back to the community is something extremely important to Chaz. He is able to do this by serving as the co-executive director and vice president of the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization where he is the regional representative for the Miss America 2.0 competition. This non-profit organization gives hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarship money to young ladies all across the Palmetto state while providing many hours of community service to local organizations.

When not working, Chaz enjoys traveling, interior design projects, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
